Alex Y. Kunczynski
President
D&K EngineeringAs a co-founder and the President of D&K Engineering, Alex manages the day-to-day engineering services operations. Over the past 10 years, his daily activities include overseeing the development, design and manufacturing of electro-mechanical equipment and products for D&K's clients. Under his management, D&K Engineering has built a strong reputation for innovation with its diverse client base helping them solve some of their most difficult engineering challenges. Prior to D&K Engineering, Alex was a Manufacturing Development Engineer at Hewlett Packard. Alex holds both a BSME and an MSME with an emphasis in Mechatronics and Smart Product Design from Stanford University. 
Ken Murray PhD
Technical Manager
BBI EnzymesTechnical Manager at BBI Enzymes, Ken joined the company in 1988 when it was operating as Biozyme Laboratories. He has worked in a variety of technical and commercial roles for the business, as well as being responsible for the sourcing of key raw materials and related regulatory compliance issues. Ken is now using his extensive knowledge of both the industry and the protein purification capabilities at BBI to work with worldwide key accounts, mainly in the immunodiagnostic and biosensor markets, to develop customised enzyme solutions for new applications. Ken has over 26 year’s enzymes expertise, holds a PhD in biotechnology and a BSc in Biochemistry from Bath University. 
Sue Spencer
Global Head of IVD
BSI HealthcareSue Spencer has twenty-six years of experience in the IVD industry, and has held various positions in R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance. She joined BSI in 2009 as Head of IVD, where she has developed a full scope Notified Body that can provide a responsive IVD service to clients world-wide.
Previously, Sue worked for a UK Notified Body as a Technical and Operations Manager covering both the Medical Device and IVD Directives during the introduction of both the Medical Device and IVD Directives, and as a consultant before joining a large global diagnostic manufacturer as Manager for International Quality Systems and Risk Management for the Division.
She is an experienced instructor and regularly delivers interactive training courses with accelerated learning objectives.
